Long Time no see.....

Okay so I think I should start up the "Ol" Blog again or should I say, have my daughter Shelby write It for me. I love all the comments and sweet words you all leave me so I deiced we should let you know of our craziness and be entertained by our family.
December: We went down to Arizona for Christmas and It was so fun to be with my parents and my brother and his family. We drove all night to get there and it was awful! The twins cried all night! About Vegas I told Mark, who had his ipod on to pull over i am about to lose it! He got me another Diet Coke and we kept driving.. We finally made it and it was a great time with family. When we arrived home to snow and lots of it, it was great to be back..

This last school year i went back to work part time. I was the Lunch Lady at Lincoln Academy. It was really fun! I got to meet all the kids and laugh with all the teaching staff. When school was ending i was sort of sad to leave for the summer. I hope i can return next year or I might need to go to work full time. Mark was laid off in April and it has been so hard to find employment. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

In February, the twins Reagan and Reese turned 3. Three has been a bit eaiser, but double the trouble. Let me tell you of some of the naughty things they got into....
Reagan walked behind our soccer net and yelled to Reese to "help i am stuck, help me Reese", well the little lady that loves anything that cuts grabs the scissors and cuts her out....
Many times you would find them locked in to the car waving hello to us...
Many times they tried to paint, there bodies and toes with finger polish....
Sneaking out to go walk in the snow in there dress up clothes...
Many pretty pictures on our new walls.. Thank goodness for magic erasers..
They always keep us laughing, and we don't know where our life would be without them...

Talmage is almost 5.. I really can't believe it. He had another great year at Preschool with Ms. April. I think he made her laugh most everyday. He was able to have his Grandpa and Grandma Bishop go for Grandparents breakfast.
He loved going and we think he did well and, he is ready to head to Kindergarden...
Mark had to take him for his Shots and he was telling some friends the other night, that he even got to pee in a cup...
He also makes us laugh. He loves any computer games and he loves the Wii... He completed all levels on Super Mario Galaxley... Yes just like his Dad.
He loves to play and he really loves any small toy, because he makes most items fly.
Our nephew just returned from his mission, and Talmage still thinks he went to space....

Sydney just completed the 5th grade.. Wow where did that time go... She is almost as tall as i am and is so full of energy. If she just gets done with something, she want to do something else.. She is always keeping us jumping. She played Basketball and is playing Softball and she also tried Lacross this year. I told her to pick her favorite and she picked all three..Her class also was involved in Hope Of America... She loved going to that, Mark and I were glad it was shorter this year.. She will turn 12 in November and will be in Young Womens. She is a great help to us and makes us laugh...

Shelby our teenager..... She turned 13 in May... I know i just said this but really where did time go... This year she was a big 7th grader! She was able to go with her Journalist class to Washington DC. She loved it. She was able to see many places, the White House, The Pentagon, The Temple and many other awesome places. She was a part of a group who won best Newspaper for a Junior High class. She loves writting for the newspaper. She also loves hanging with her friends or talking to them or texting them. She is very social and she always has a smile on her face. She was also in the Choir for school and she did great! We loved going to her performaces. Shelby and I just returned from Girls camp. This has been my second year with Shelby and i just love going. I hope she enjoys going with me.. It is fun to see her grow each year. She has many wonderful friends at camp.

Kathryn Turns 40

Well, yes it happened! I turned the big 40 in March. I had told Mark that i wanted to do something fun, I was thinking Salt Lake or even Park City. Well you know Mark he never does things little. Our neighbors were going on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera, and the next thing i know, on Wednesday night he said pack your bag we are going with the Hess's on a cruise. I just about died i love to go on cruises. So we left on Saturday and flew to Los Angeles. We did some shopping and just good old talking, with the three little ones we don't always get good conversation in. So on Sunday we got on the ship it was so big! It was the biggest we have been on just amazing. It even had a ice skating rink. We met up with our friends and laughed and laughed. Every night we sat with the same people some interesting ones and some really great ones. Our first stop was Cabo San Lucas. It was beautiful, we went on a snorkeling tour, and we even saw whales it was so awesome. The water was a little bit cold but so much fun. The whales were so big and awesome! Our next stop was in Mazatlan, we went on a day at the beach and boat rides. Well you know Mark he was just as happy to sit and read his book. So i just enjoyed the quiet. Then our next stop was Puerto Vallarta, i thought it was so pretty, we went on a zip line. Each time or should i say the older i get the more afraid i get of being up so high. It was so beautiful and it was so much fun. The jeep ride there was pretty scary, but we made it. I then did my shopping and had fun. On the day of my birthday my husband spoiled me rotten. He had roses sent to our room, and then he had the room decorated for my birthday. He also got me a massage and a pedicure. I was in heaven it was the best!! Then at dinner our friends had my seat at the table decorated. And then had our friends and kids write me a birthday card, it was so great! It was such a fun and a very great birthday!
Thank you Jason and Marianne for letting us spend our vacation with you! You both are great!
Mark is so good to me. Also to give me a 40th birthday in such a big way! I love him so much!! Thank you honey, I loved every minute of our trip together. You are the Best I love you so much!!

Reagan and Reese turn 2

Well, i never thought this big day would come. I remember the day they were born and Mark thought i was going into false labor again and he did not take me to serious. So when we arrived at the hospital i was dialed to a 7 and my water was about to break. All i could think about was, am i able to still get the epidural. Well all went well and they were born about 1:30 in the afternoon. Reagan came weighing in at a big 5 ibs 3 ozs and Reese came in at 4 lbs 7 ozs. They were so beautiful, i still was very shocked that i just gave birth to two babies. Mark kept saying we are done yeah!! They have really made our lives so happy and never a dull moment! They keep Mark and I feeling very young. I'm so glad we have the two caboose's on the end!!
I just love them so much!!

My January Thoughts

I got this poem from my friend Julie, i hope she doesn't mind me sharing it. I thought it was so funny!!

'Twas the Month After Christmas & I Ate Too Much

'Twas the month after Christmas, and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste
At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.
When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).
I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared,
The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please."
As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt.
I said to myself, as I only can
"You can't spend a winter disguised as a man!"
So--away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip
Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
Till all the additional ounces have vanished.
I won't have a cookie--not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.
I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.
I'm hungry, I'm lonesome, and life is a bore,
But isn't that what January is for?
Unable to giggle, no longer a riot.
Happy New Year to all and to all a good diet!

Merry Christmas from Richfield

Well this year we spent Christmas in Richfield with my family. My brother and his family and my family arrived on Tuesday. It was so fun, seeing them all again. We had a great dinner that night of Mexican food and sat around and laughed. Christmas eve was fun also, we did a little last minute shopping and then played in the snow. Mark arrived that night it was great to have him there. That night the kids acted out the christmas story, they did a great job as always. Then my dad read the Christmas story, and we talked about our most memorable Christmas. This year i got my brothers kids shirts that say "My Bishop Rocks" he and the kids got a kick out of them, since he is the Bishop. I then gave my kids there christmas pj's. Talmage did not like his he thought his were babies pj's. We then had the kids get the cookies out for Santa. Then all the adults played cards till the wee hours of the morning. Christmas day was great then we came home and unloaded the stuff. Christmas was great we love spending time with my family. Thanks Mom and Dad for the very wonderful Christmas. Thanks Doug and Annette for everything it was great being together! We love you all!!
